How To Enable Javascript

Once you have enabled JavaScript then

• Close this page
• Press the F5 key to refresh the current Englishlink page

Windows Internet Explorer

(all versions except Pocket Internet Explorer)

1. On the Tools menu,
2. click Internet Options, and then
3. click the Security tab
4. Click the Internet zone
5. Click Custom Level
6. scroll to Scripting section
7. click Enable for Active Scripting
8. click OK button
9. click Apply or OK button to close the dialog box

Firefox

Firefox 2.xx or 3.xx

1. On the Tools menu,
2. click Options.
3. Click on the Content icon
4. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
5. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.
6. Check the boxes under Allow scripts to section that you want to allow.
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK.

Firefox 1.xx

1. On the Tools menu,
2. click Options.
3. in the Options list, click Web Features
4. check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
5. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.
6. Check the boxes under Allow scripts to section that you want to allow.
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK.

Safari 3

1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu
2. Click Security
3. Check Enable JavaScript
4. Close the window

Chrome

Javascript is enabled by default.
It is not easy to disable Javascript.

You may have to uninstall Google Chrome and re-install.

 

Opera

1. On the Tools menu
2. click Preferences
3. click Advanced
4. click Content
5. select JavaScript
